Those playing the CC Grooves, how's it going so far?

I think the biggest difference for me is the little shots out of the rough around the green, you gotta allow some release it seems with these. Otherwise not much different from Fairway or full shots in general.

I am interested in picking up one to try out. I asked the guys at the golf store if anyone was using them and they all laughed and said they would not be playing them until they have to!!!

You shouldn't see any difference from the fairway.  Club should play the same as the old sm grooves.  The rough is a different story!

There is some more release with pitches and bunker shots around the green. I do see a difference in the ball flight, the CC wedges tend to launch higher than the previous models. I talked to a rep who said they were design liked that to counter act the lack of spin on full shots

What makes the CC models launch higher? Is it a certain shaft?
